Whatcom County Search and Rescue is having a fundraiser to raise money for our new building. We are asking for donations of new or used items in good condition to be auctioned off later this year. Items that will be accepted include: Household Goods, Collectables & Antiques, Sporting Equipment, Small Appliances, Tools, Yard and Garden Supplies, Outdoor/Camping Gear, etc… Please, no clothes, unless they are a specialty or designer item – wedding dress or ski coat, for example. Items can be dropped off at the Search and Rescue storage container, located in the Get Simple Box parking lot in the Wiser Lake Business Park. (7350 Guide Meridian)
We will have the donation drop off staffed Saturday, 12/2/23 from 10-noon and Saturday, 12/9/23 from 10-noon. We plan to have a few more days staffed before the end of the year.
